1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Thoth: The Unknown mobile application (the "App"), operated by Codewave Mobile ("we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, creating an account, or otherwise using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). Where these Terms and the Apple EULA differ, the more protective terms for the user apply to your use of the App obtained through the App Store.

2. Eligibility — 18+

You represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old. The App enforces an age gate at account setup, requiring a date of birth confirming you meet this requirement. If we learn that a user is under 18, we will terminate the account and delete the associated data without notice. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor has created an account, contact us at privacy@codewavemobile.com.

3. The Service

The App provides tarot readings across multiple spreads, a daily card, a browsable 78-card library, and AI-generated written interpretations of your readings. Some features are free; others require a Pro subscription or credits (see Section 6). Features may change, be added, or be removed over time, and availability may depend on your device, region, network connection, and third-party services.

AI interpretations are generated by third-party AI providers (Google Gemini and, where configured, Anthropic Claude). We do not guarantee that any interpretation will be accurate, complete, consistent, or available at any given time.

4. For Entertainment & Reflection Only

They do not constitute professional advice of any kind — including medical, legal, financial, psychological, or other professional advice — and must not be relied upon as a substitute for consulting a qualified professional. We make no promises or guarantees about outcomes, predictions, or results. You are solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on your use of the App.

5. Your Account

To use the App you must create an account by signing in with Apple or with your email address (via a one-time magic link — we do not use passwords). You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Accounts are for a single individual; you may not share, sell, or transfer your account.

You may delete your account at any time via Settings → Account → Delete My Account in the App, or by emailing privacy@codewavemobile.com. Deletion is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

6.1 Pro Subscription

The App offers an optional "Pro" subscription that unlocks all spreads, unlimited AI-guided readings, additional daily intentions, and other Pro features. Pro is available as an auto-renewing subscription (monthly or yearly) and, where offered, as a one-time lifetime purchase.

Auto-renewing subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price shown at purchase. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iOS device. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not retroactively refund the current period.

6.2 Credits & Credit Packs

Credits allow additional AI-guided readings beyond the free daily allowance. Credits may be earned in-app (for example, by choosing to watch a rewarded ad) or purchased as consumable credit packs. Consumable credits are non-transferable, have no cash value, and are non-refundable once granted or consumed, except where required by law.

6.3 Billing & Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store using your Apple ID; we do not receive or store your payment details. Purchases are subject to the App Store's terms. Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's policies — we are generally unable to issue refunds directly. Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may vary by region and over time.

7. Advertising

The only advertising in the App is an optional rewarded video ad that free-tier users may choose to watch to earn a credit. There are no banner or interstitial ads. You are never required to watch an ad, and ads are served by Google AdMob only after you tap to watch one and are shown the applicable consent prompts. 8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except as permitted by law
• Access the App or its backend through automated means, or attempt to circumvent quotas, gates, or purchase requirements
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the App or its infrastructure
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or its content without our written permission
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its name, design, code, written content, and original tarot interpretations, is owned by Ekin Bulut / Codewave Mobile and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Tarot card artwork is based on the public-domain Rider-Waite-Smith deck. For full attribution and third-party licences, see our Copyright page.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that AI interpretations or any content will be accurate, reliable, or continuously available.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from or related to your use of the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

11. Termination

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, misuse the App, or where required by law. On termination, the licence granted to you ends and you must stop using the App. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Istanbul, Türkiye shall have jurisdiction over any disputes, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence grant you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in the App, our practices, or legal requirements. We will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where changes are material, provide notice within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
